Large Ytong - Type A
Featuring dimensions of 108 x 208 x 28 mm (l x w x h), this nest boasts 13 straight-shaped chambers, providing ample space for your ant colony to thrive. Crafted from Ytong block, known for its excellent moisture retention properties, simply add water via the chimney located conveniently on the side of the formicarium to maintain optimal humidity levels for your ants.
Worried about escape? Fear not! Our formicariums come equipped with escape-proof mesh embedded seamlessly into the frame, ensuring the safety and containment of your precious ants. The clearview acrylic lid, securely held in place with screws (removable if necessary, though we advise against removing all screws), offers a crystal-clear view of your bustling ant colony.
For easy access and connection, we've included both 10 mm and 15 mm access ports, accommodating various species and colony sizes. Plus, with the ability to use the nest vertically or horizontally by simply rotating the chimney (pliers may be required depending on chamber depth), you have the flexibility to adapt to your ants' needs.
