Camponotus foreli queens measure between 10-15mm, while workers range from 5-10mm in size. Despite their small colony size, caring for Camponotus foreli is relatively easy, provided they are left undisturbed. With a varied diet comprising sugars from fruits, sugar water, or ant jellies, and proteins from fruit flies, mealworms, and smaller insects, these ants are not picky eaters. However, caution must be exercised when feeding wild-caught insects to prevent the introduction of mites to the colony.
